Over the past couple of months, our team at Maruho Hatsujyo Group in Erie, CO has been working closely with students from the CU Boulder Biomedical Engineering Department as they tackled their Capstone project: “Engineering Packaging Solutions for Ceviginate“.
Ceviginate (CVGN8) is the first regenerative treatment for Xerostomia developed by Hydronovo . The custom medical blister tray proposed by the students is designed to enhance syringe handling, ensuring both secure and efficient application.
This week, they completed the final iteration of their custom medical device packaging design, and we brought it to life using our Eagle OMNI blister packaging machine. Today, the students presented their finished prototype package at CU Boulder’s annual Capstone Design Expo.
We’re incredibly proud of their team and honored to have supported their innovation and hands-on learning experience. At Maruho Hatsujyo Group, we’re always excited to collaborate on medical device packaging solutions—especially with up-and-coming engineers right here in Colorado.
